UEFA Champions League Review

After two nights of the much anticipated first legs of the UCL semi final, the results left fans quite surprised. Tuesday night fixture was a face off between Madrid rivals Real Madrid vs Athletico Madrid in what was expected to be a feisty derby – which has always been the case. It turned out to be a stroll in the park for Real as they completely dominated the match with Cristiano Ronaldo, the star of the night having scored all three goals for them.

Also, the second fixture which was played on Wednesday was a match between the most attacking and high scoring Monaco team against an outstandingly defensive Juventus side. Juventus proved to be way better than their opponent as they completely shut out Monaco’s attacking duo Falcao and Mbappe, going on to get an away win with Gonzalo Higuain scoring both goals. The second leg of both games comes up on the 10th and 11th of may, 2017.
